Erin Woodrow, MACP, CCC

Therapy for anxiety, burnout, relationships, and life’s challenges—grounded in neuroscience, nervous system regulation, and meaningful change.

About Me

I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor with a warm, collaborative, and evidence-based approach to therapy. I support individuals and couples navigating anxiety, burnout, overwhelm, relationship challenges, trauma, life transitions, emotional regulation difficulties, and the demands of modern life.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent more than 15 years in professional environments, giving me firsthand insight into stress, performance pressure, burnout, leadership challenges, and balancing work, relationships, and personal well-being.

As a former national-level athlete, therapist, and mother, I understand the challenges of navigating high expectations, competing demands, and major life transitions.

My approach is grounded in neuroscience and the mind-body connection. I integrate CBT, ACT, DBT, Narrative Therapy, Polyvagal Theory, and body-based approaches to help clients better understand the relationship between their thoughts, emotions, behaviours, and nervous system. I am also a Gottman Method Level 2 trained Couples Therapist.

I strive to create a space where clients feel understood, supported, and empowered to build resilience, improve emotional well-being, and create meaningful, lasting change.

My Approach

I believe meaningful change happens when we understand the connection between our thoughts, emotions, behaviours, and nervous system. My approach is collaborative, practical, and grounded in neuroscience, helping clients develop greater self-awareness, emotional regulation, and resilience.

I draw from evidence-based therapies including CBT, ACT, DBT, Narrative Therapy, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Polyvagal Theory, and body-based approaches. Together, we explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck and develop practical strategies that support meaningful, lasting change.

Therapy is tailored to your unique goals, strengths, and experiences, creating a space where you can feel supported, understood, and empowered to move forward.
